I think I like the sound of 18 months better. One and a half sounds much too grown up. But there is no denying that our little Julie Bug is growing up. She is keeping us on our toes and giving us many reasons to laugh as she is growing into a little girl and developing her personality.
This is a summary of Julie Kate at 18 months:
Julie enjoys all things musical. She loves to dance and sing.
She idolizes her sister (Sissy or Sheshe in Julie words).
She is crazy about her grandparents and is very blessed that all 4 of them have an active role in her life.
She adores her Ms. Sondrea.
She is FAST. I've never seen a child run so quickly in order to avoid getting clothes or a diaper on.
She is all about the accessories. Shoes, hats, necklaces. She really doesn't care much about clothes (as in whether she wears them or not), but she can't go without shoes and a necklace.
She loves her baby dolls and real babies too.
She loves to wrestle and doesn't seem phased by tumbles.
She talks and talks. and talks. She can carry on a conversation and is starting to put multiple words together. She has no problem telling us what she wants. She does have a problem however with not getting what she wants.. Hello toddler years.
She is a great helper and wants to please. She loves to give hugs. She is a snuggle bug and would much rather cuddle up with one of us than sleep alone in her crib.
She is such a source of joy and delight in our lives. We sure love you, Bug!

Oh Steph...she is so precious. What a wonderful smile she has! :-)
Such a smiling girl! :)
Happy half birthday Julie! Don't grow up too fast.
How adorable! Love that she runs away from clothes but loves to wear shoes. Macie Lynn is a big shoe lover too. She even likes to wear them with jammies. Little girls are so much fun!
