Easter Weekend

We're not out of April yet so I've decided that I can still write about Easter weekend.. :)

This year Avalon participated in her very 1st Easter egg hunt. She didn't really get the concept of filling the basket with as many eggs as possible. She didn't see the need to collect more eggs when she had found one with a toy inside that she could sit and play with.

I think her favorite activity of the day was playing on the slide.

On Easter Sunday we went to church and then went with Chad and Keri to their family Easter dinner. It was very sweet of them to take us in. Living away from family, it's hard to know what to do with yourself on days like Easter and 4th of July. We were very blessed to be included with their family. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time eating brisket tacos and watching the kids play outside.
