Tuesday March 3rd, marked 6 months in the life of Avalon Grace. When she was born, everybody told us that the first year would fly by and that seems to be the case. She was 7 pounds, 4 ounces and ~19 inches long when she was born. She is now 17 pounds and 27 inches long. If she didn't look so much like her stunning parents, I might wonder if we came home from the hospital with the right baby :).
Avalon is such a joy in our lives. She makes us laugh all the time and we can't imagine life without her.
She's sitting up without tipping over (very often). She constantly giggles at her daddy and gets into as many things as she possibly can without being mobile. We can feel her first tooth coming in and we've started her on solid foods. (Solid as in oatmeal mush and applesauce - mmm).
Here are a few pictures that make us smile. The last two were taken on her 6 month birthday.
Not so sure about the flavor, but green beans make a nice teething toy.
